COURSE TEASER:
About two-thirds of high school seniors nationwide decide to attend a college or career school within one year of graduating high school or earning a GED. Seniors have large goals; however, they are apprehensive, aware, and inevitably resourceful. Most students continue their education for career success. In order to meet their needs and expectations to ensure they matriculate, we need to understand common characteristics that get in their way, such as FEAR.
F.E.A.R. can be an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. Like most of us, high school seniors fear failure, change, and the unknown. We must identify these fears and address them head-on. Fears can turn into objections that can result in prospective students canceling their plans to attend. Most concerns include committing to the wrong major, or college, not finding a job when they graduate, or becoming unhappy with the profession they chose. Of course, that concerns transitions into fears of paralyzing debt. Remember, selecting a college is often the first real financial conversation for prospective students, and; they for prospective students, and developed realistic expectations on school costs and salaries. The significance of schooling decisions is often one of the reasons why prospective students don’t feel ready to be on their own. Low self-esteem, their social lives, and not being able to meet new friends are on their list of concerns as well.

No. Each lesson/chapter must be completed in succession in order to move on to the next. This is primarily because the information and concepts are tiered for optimal learning and comprehension.
